What Is Custard?
There is one major difference between Custard and Ice Cream. Custard is made with pasteurized egg yolk, however, it contains fewer calories per serving. All the other ingredients are the same as regular Ice Cream.
Because egg yolk creates a thicker, creamier dessert, Custard is super-delicious and extremely satisfying to eat. Like Ice Cream, Custard also must contain at least 10% milk fat.

Why Frozen Custard?
While Frozen Custard machines have improved over the last decade, fortunately the basic ingredients have stayed the same. Custard contains cream, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Yum!
Custard is churned slowly to prevent air from mixing into the finished product. This allows the butterfat and egg yokes to blend in such a way as to create the most creamy dessert. Luxurious, rich and thick, Custard is best served fresh.

Brian's latest creation was made with Vanilla Custard. He artfully spread chocolate and strawberry syrup over the top. The candy sprinkles added a certain party flavor. A cherry on top and a waffle cone on the bottom created the perfect combination of flavors.
